No, our escape rooms are simulated confinement. You’ll be trying to break into a portion of the room rather than trying to break out of the room itself. In case of an emergency, you are free to leave the room.
We recommend children be 8 years old, or have strong reading/writing comprehension. However, all children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a paid adult.
Only “Captain’s Quarters” (our pirate-themed room) contains a few small jump-scare moments. Our other rooms are not scary at all.
You must arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time in order to review the rules with our team and sign your waiver. Your game clock begins promptly on time so please do not lose your game minutes by being late! Call us at (331) 225-0320 if you’re held up by traffic, etc.

Yes, walk-ins are welcome. However, our schedule fills up quickly and online reservations are recommended.

We do not offer gift cards to Elmhurst Escape Room. However, we happily accept Elmhurst City Centre gift cards.
